Necklace For Every Outfit

Pink Elephant offers a range of different necklaces. Each that can be styled to your own liking. However, we know that it may be tricky pairing that statement necklace with your printed top or having your floral dress over power your pendant necklace. Well in this post We've made a couple guides on which necklace is which and how you can pair them. You may find that certain styles go with some of the same types of collars or top styles. To us that means you're given many different ways to pair you're necklaces!

First up is the Bib style necklace. This necklace goes great with a strapless collar, a deep neck, and shirts with collars. We see bib necklaces with gem stones or just the plain metal kind. Either way, use this style to dress your favorite look up or down.
We've seen chokers pop up a lot more lately (history repeating its self) and we love it. Because chokers already act as a collar in accessory form its best to pair them in likeliness or with open space. What do we mean? By likeliness we mean pair them with a collar that's similar, like the shirt above left, it already has a choker like collar so pairing it with an actual choker gives umph. And for open space strapless shirts or dresses are your best bet.
The collar style necklace is similar to your choker in design, however collar necklaces do just what they're named after, lay right on your collar bones. These styled necklaces look great with a deep neckline because they help balance the length of the neckline with out taking away any length. High collar shirts like halter top are great for these necklaces too. Your collar necklace will lay right on top of your halter almost making it seem as if the necklace is attached. Lastly, turtle necks or mock necks  usually need an extra pop and collar necklaces can do just that.
Remember when was popping up on everything and some people thought it was okay to fringe on fringe? Ehh, yeah bad look. However, fringe is still in and that means for necklaces too. Because fringe will always have that 70's flower child feel you can never go wrong pairing it with denim. This style is also a good match for your blazers, scoop neck top, and any top with a droopy-like neckline.
Last but not least the lariat necklace. The lari-what? We mostly know these necklaces as knot necklaces. This necklace style will always have an elegant feel to it. When paired with a high neckline it can dress any look up and when paired with a deep v-neck it lays right in line with the neckline and adds to whatever classiness your outfit is serving that day.
The only style that was not mentioned was your essential pendant necklace. This is the necklace that can be paired with literally anything for any occasion. Hope you all enjoyed this post.

Style Your Era Monthly

Its true what they say, history repeats its self. We see it all the  time with music, fashion, and even movies. With fashion its timeless. Remember that picture you saw of your mom with the bright colors and leggings on, and then you went and bout leggings with lace on the bottom, and now your sister is wearing leggings with a matching top? See how that happens an without effort. We took an era of style and brought it  through a time machine just like the example I gave you.  Drum roll please....Chic 70's! The 70's was all about being neutral with mixtures of color, flow, and just earthy. With the spin on bell bottoms from the jeans and the flow characteristic form the top we'd say this 70's look in 2018 is 10 out of 10!
